Hezron Chetty Debuts 'The Fallacy Of Composition'

The highly anticipated album release and music video of Durban born, Europe raised, Cape Town based violinist Hezron Chetty has arrived. The 1st of November will see the release of his debut album "The Fallacy Of Composition" and his official music video for one of his songs "Chasing Kings". The music video was created by Muti Films , the production house that produced hit South African movie Jerusalema , the album was produced by Rudi Greyvenstein form The Kickstands. Hezron has released the album independently through his newly registered label Mad Violinist Production Ltd. Hezron started this record label and music consultancy so that he could help other independent artist around South Africa release independently and learn more about independent publishing and Samro. The album and music video will be released world wide on the 1st of November on all online stores ie: i Tunes, Deezer, Youtube, Spotify, Simfy and Amazon Music and many more, hard copies will be available on sale at shows.

Hezron Chetty is a violinist and songwriter from Cape Town, South Africa. Hezron performs the violin through a loop station. His style is fresh and his progressive approach to instrumental music has captured the attention of the music scene – local and abroad.

Hezron looking away in Studio Session`The Fallacy of Composition’ is Hezron’s highly anticipated studio album that is set to be released in November 2015. Groundbreaking techniques on the violin have seen him share events with Viewe Farka Toure, Jocelyn Brown (Incognito) Rae Kwan (Wu Tang Clan),340 ml, Aking, The Blackjacks, Roger Lucy, David Kramer, Finley Quaye, Madala Kunene, Fruits and Veggies, Stelth Ulvang (The Lumineers). Hezron will be joining Arno Carstens later this year at Kirstenbosch Gardens as part of his band.

Hezron’s genre can be described as a New Age, thought provoking take on Instrumental music. With influences coming from some of the great instrumentalists of our time, namely Charlie Parker, Miles Davis, Jimmy Page, Jimmy Hendrix ,Tommy Emmanuel, Stephane Grappelli and Django Reinhardt. Hezron loops string arrangements live, and places melodies and solos on top of them. At times the listener will believe there is a full string quartet on stage.
