QWATHIKAZI TO PERFORM AT THE 23RD ANNUAL CREOLE FESTIVAL

Qwathikazi to perform at the 23rd annual Creole Festival 2017 in Seychelles

Afrojazz sensation Qwathikazi is off to the islands of Seychelles for a three-day performance at the Creole Festival. The festival kicks off on the 23rd of October and ends on the 29th. Seychelles is a tourist destination in the East of Africa and a performance there will expose the Ndithande Ndinje hitmaker to audiences from around the globe who will be visiting the islands. The annual Creole festival will be held at three different Islands of Mahe, Praslin and LA Digue and she will perform for three days in a row alongside artists from different countries from 25-27 of October 2017. This is Qwathikazi's first international gig and she is ecstatic about the prospect of performing in front of a completely new audience "I feel highly privileged to be amongst the participants at the Creole festival to represent the identity of our country South Africa" she said. Qwathikazi is one of the three acts from South Africa who will perform at the festival.

Born Nontsikelelo Hlomela, Qwathikazi has been in the music scene for a more than a decade releasing hits such as Umona, bhabalaza. Her current single Likhon'themba is a must listen.

Although she originally hails from Uitenhage, Eastern, Qwathikazi is based in Johannesburg and is doing well in music. She recently released her latest two hot singles 'Ndithande Ndinje' and 'Likhon Themba' currently receiving massive airplay at various radio stations. Apart from her own music, she was recently featured on the Minister Harry's live DVD and album recording.Her contribution to the project was enormous. She sings alongside Minister Harry and Sipho Ngwenya on the first single Holy Spirit. She also contributed on all the other songs on the album as back up artist.

Qwathikazi is a versatile musician and has the ability to switch from one genre to the other. Also, Qwathikazi is not just a singer she is also the minister of the word.
