Lead singer of South African award winning rock band GANGS OF BALLET, BRAD KLYNSMITH has signed teenage musical prodigy, ANDREW SUTTON under his management.
The young performer was discovered by BRAD when he attended a musical at his old high school in which ANDREW performed. Instantly impressed and intrigued, BRAD soon met ANDREW and the rest as they say, is history.
“Some people just have it, and Andrew is one of those people. He’s talented, focused and humble. The world won’t be able to resist him.” - Brad Klynsmith.
ANDREW SUTTON is a 16-year-old musical prodigy hailing from the east coast city of Durban. With a pure instinct for music and a passion for performance, he has been holding the attention of crowds and winning music competitions since the age of 6.
Currently a learner at Northwood High School, ANDREW won the Gateway To Fame competition at the tender age of 9, and after the performing bug bit, this victory allowed him many opportunities to perform at places like the Gateway Barnyard, Durban ICC and Kings Park Stadium to name a few.
“It’s been a long time dream of mine to be a performing artist and Brad is opening the doors to make it a reality.” - Andrew Sutton.
The interest around ANDREW has already warranted a headline in the Sunday Tribune as an artist to watch and has already shared a stage with the likes of Freshly Ground, Matthew Mole, Gangs of Ballet, Josh Wantie, Shortstraw and Desmond and The Tutus, it seems a sign of things to come.
Now, a year in the making, ANDREW SUTTON is set to release his debut single on 1 August 2017. The single, entitled ‘One More Chance’ was written by BRAD himself and recorded by SAMA nominated local producer, Ewald Jansen Van Rensburg (from Monark) - an unmatched combination of talents for this rising star!
