"2009 proved to be one of the most fruitful and successful years of Pledge
Defiance’s existence. With the release of “Painometer,” the proverbial
floodgates have been opened, and the creative energies that stem from the
combined efforts of the quartet have been increased exponentially…  Now, in 2010, new territories are being explored – with the determination
and zeal of the band growing with every passing day, levels of technicality,
speed and precision are being raised as well. With brand new material in the
pipeline, the band are set to once again take the country by the throat and
shake it to its very violent core…  A renewed monster is taking form…one that will not tolerate rampant hatred,
nor condone the evil doings of humanity. Pledge Defiance seeks not only to
reflect human folly, but to combat it and crush ignorance in its destructive
path.2010 shall be the year that the Defiant rise. 2010 shall be the year in
which the repulsive tremble. 2010 shall be the year in which humanity is called
to task and made to chew its Leprotic Stew!"
