GrandWest is excited to welcome local sensation Jimmy Nevis to the Grand Arena stage for a one-night-only show on Saturday 25 November 2017. The show comes on the back of his brand new album, Quarter Life Crisis.

The highly anticipated show – titled 2524 or Twenty-Five-to-Life - celebrates his new album and the transformative process the artist has undergone over the last few years. It promises to be an emotional affair as Jimmy takes fans through the songs that have reconnected him with his soul and helped him rediscover his passions.

Jimmy says he nearly quit music altogether at the beginning of 2017. His aptly titled album, 'Quarter Life Crisis', is a reflection of this journey towards becoming a truer reflection of himself. He said: “Once I surrendered to and accepted my age, how I look, who I am, what I like and dislike and all that goes along with those emotions and decisions, I also discovered how I truly want my music to sound. This is incredibly important to me as it is a direct reflection of my soul.”

“We are delighted to have Jimmy performing on the Grand Arena stage,” said Elouise Matthys, PR and Promotions Manager at GrandWest. “He is such a crowd favourite and thrills audiences every time with intensive and lively shows. I’m sure his fans are really looking forward to his new show which promises to be an unapologetic and honest reflection of what turning 25 has meant for him.”

This one-night-only show is likely to sell out fast, so fans should buy their tickets at Computicket now to ensure they do not miss out.

Jimmy Nevis’s show 2524 or Twenty-Five-to-Life can be seen at the Grand Arena, GrandWest, on 25 November 2017. Doors open at 19h00 and the show starts at 20h00. Tickets are available at Computicket from R150 per person.
