It's been nearly five years since the world lost Roxette's beloved Marie Fredriksson to cancer, a tragedy that deeply impacted family, friends, and fans. Yet, Roxette's music continues to resonate globally, celebrated and cherished by generations of supporters.

In 2025, Per Gessle will revive Roxette’s legendary catalogue by bringing their unforgettable songs back to life on stage. Joined by Swedish superstar Lena Philipsson, Per is determined to honour the band's legacy while delivering an exhilarating live experience.

Per Gessle shared his thoughts on the tour:

“This is all about the Roxette songs – the incredible collection of music and lyrics I’ve created over three decades. Marie is irreplaceable, and I’m not creating a new duo. However, Lena Philipsson brings an extraordinary voice and incredible talent to this tour. I’ve worked with her since 1986, and she remains one of Sweden’s brightest stars. I’m thrilled she’s helping keep the Roxette legacy alive.”

The Roxette band lineup includes Christoffer Lundquist, Magnus Börjeson, Magnus “Norpan” Eriksson, Dea Norberg, and original Roxette members Clarence Öfwerman and Jonas Isacsson. After a nine-year hiatus, “Roxette in Concert” will begin its journey in Cape Town, promising fans an unforgettable evening of music and nostalgia.
