Since the release of, ‘Reminiscence’ in 2018, Riaan Nieuwenhuis once again entered the studio in preparation for his next studio album, ‘Bleeding Moon'.
Riaan never ceases to amaze us with his unique talent and astounding ability to evoke some nostalgia out of something new. No doubt, ‘Bleeding Moon’ does exactly that.
With his blues-rock influences, (among others), Riaan continues to amaze us with his unique talent and astounding ability to evoke nostalgia out of something new. No doubt, ‘Bleeding Moon’ is exactly that.
"It is all about the music" quotes Riaan
Most of the songs were written around the time of the longest total lunar eclipse in July 2018, while many of the piano parts were recorded at Graff/Del Aire, the rest of the instruments, were recorded at Tunes Studio.
The release of ‘Bleeding Moon’ could not have come at a better time, with the COVID-19 virus affecting everyone, we can at least put our feet up and relax, while we experience lockdown.
