A good chorus needs some gang vocals right? Well they thought so too and have invited anyone that feels like it to come and sing with them on their hit song ‘Swords’. All you have to do to be a part of this massive global gang vocal session is to pre-order their album for R200 - and you will get to:

•  Sing a chorus on their debut album
• Be credited on the album inlay as a backing vocalist
• Feature in their music video for the song
• Be sent a copy of the album fresh off the press

They don’t care if you think you have a terrible voice or can’t hold a tune - they want you anyway! But if you really, really, really don’t want to sing they will still let you pre-order the album.  If you’re interested click on the link below and purchase a ticket. The ticket will give you a link to the chorus with the words to sing along to as well as instructions of how to film yourself singing it and where to send the video.

Established in 2012, The Shabeen have gigged extensively across the country delivering a tight, captivating set that blends sincere, melodic sing-a-long folk with the raw energy and DIY ethos of punk rock. Drawing influences from artists such as Frank Turner, Erik Peterson and Against Me!, the band never ceases to get a crowd to throw their fists in the air and sing along to their anthemic tunes which have been described as honest and raw and easy to relate to.

The band is made up of singer/songwriter Jon Shaban on guitar and vocals, Ryan McArthur on double bass and backing vocals, and Thomas Glendinning on drums and backing vocals. Each musician brings their own flare and flavour to the music, adding to the uniqueness of their fresh ''High Quality Folk Punk" sound.
