Johannesburg, 30 June 2025 — Parents looking to keep the kids entertained these school holidays can head straight to Melrose Arch’s Winter Playground, now open until 20 July. The precinct’s popular piazza has transformed into a festive, family-friendly wonderland where children aged 1–10 can dive into a mix of creative activities, entertainment and winter fun.

Open Thursday to Sunday from 9am to 4pm, the Winter Playground promises a safe, fun-filled experience at one of Joburg’s most vibrant destinations.

What’s Happening At The Playground?

Packed with favourites like a toddler zone, colouring corner, obstacle course, face painting, and a jumping castle, the highlight remains the crowd-pleasing Glistening Ice Rink.
