Johannesburg, 19 June 2024: School holidays are around the corner and youth in Johannesburg now have extra holiday fun to look forward to. Balfour Mall will be hosting a “Shoot the Hoop” activation in its centre court, from 19-23 June 2024, which is sure to provide hours of delight, with whopping prizes to win!

Shoot The Hoop is a basketball shooting contest that emphasizes accuracy from various distances, creating an exciting and competitive atmosphere. Participants shoot at 3 different hoops, each positioned at varying distances, adding an extra layer of challenge and excitement. The rules determine progression to subsequent rounds, ensuring a thrilling experience for all involved.

There is no cost to participate. One simply needs to provide a till slip for any purchase made at the Balfour mall in order to take part. Plus, participants stand in line to win their share of R 30 000 worth of shopping vouchers and prizes.

The Shoot The Hoop will be set up in Balfour’s main centre court and be open every day from 10 AM – 4 PM.
