JOHANNESBURG – 17 April 2025: Buckle up for more unconventional crime-solving as WILD CARDS, the hit procedural drama with a comedic edge, makes its highly anticipated return for Season 2 on Universal TV. Starring Giacomo Gianniotti (Grey’s Anatomy) and Vanessa Morgan (Riverdale), the show premieres Monday, 21 April at 20:00, with new episodes airing weekly until 14 July 2025.

Set against a backdrop of high-stakes cases and simmering personal tension, WILD CARDS follows the sharp, straight-laced Detective Cole Ellis (Gianniotti) and charismatic con artist Max Mitchell (Morgan) as they partner up to crack the city's toughest crimes—each with a wildly different approach. While Ellis sticks to the law, Max plays by her own rules, charming her way into suspects’ secrets with disguises, quick thinking, and social sleight of hand.

Season 1 ended on a tense cliffhanger, with Ellis on the verge of arresting Max for stealing a $33 million jewel. But just as betrayal seemed inevitable, Max dropped a bombshell—she knows who murdered Ellis’s brother.
