Johannesburg, 14 July 2025: Brace yourself for an electrifying new chapter as NCIS: Sydney makes its highly anticipated return to Universal TV (DStv 117) this July. Season 2 promises heightened drama, deadlier threats, and a battle for regional stability like never before. The ten-part crime series premieres on Monday 21 July 2025 at 8 pm, with fresh episodes airing every Monday until 22 September 2025.
After a successful debut season, NCIS: Sydney dives straight into a volatile investigation surrounding Rankin — an adversary whose actions threaten to plunge the entire region into chaos. As the stakes escalate, the team faces mounting pressure and increasingly exotic locations, forcing each character to confront their own limits.
Returning to lead the charge is Olivia Swann (DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, The River Wild) as NCIS Special Agent Michelle Mackey, alongside Todd Lasance (Without Remorse, Spartacus: War of the Damned) as her Australian Federal Police 2IC counterpart, Sergeant Jim “JD” Dempsey. The cast also features Sean Sagar, Tuuli Narkle, Mavournee Hazel, and William McInnes, rounding out a formidable team of investigators, forensic specialists, and tactical operatives.
Produced by Endemol Shine Australia for CBS Studios and Paramount Australia, NCIS: Sydney is distributed internationally by Paramount Global Content Distribution.
Don’t miss the premiere of NCIS: Sydney Season 2 on Universal TV, DStv Channel 117, from 21 July 2025 at 8 pm — where loyalties will be tested, and survival is anything but guaranteed.
