The PAW Patrol pups are trading Adventure Bay for prehistoric territory as their latest big-screen adventure takes them on a dinosaur-sized rescue mission.

PAW PATROL: THE DINO MOVIE is now showing in cinemas nationwide, bringing dinosaurs, daring rescues and plenty of family-friendly action to fans of the much-loved franchise. The South African cinema release is also being celebrated with special mall activations giving young fans the chance to step into the world of PAW Patrol.

A Dinosaur-Sized Adventure

In the new movie, the pups find themselves far from Adventure Bay after their ship is caught in a mysterious storm and crash-lands on an uncharted tropical island inhabited by dinosaurs.

There, they meet Rex, a pup who has lived on the island for years and knows its prehistoric inhabitants better than anyone.

But what begins as an extraordinary discovery soon becomes a fight for survival.

In search of the island's natural resources, Mayor Humdinger recklessly begins mining,  inadvertently triggering the eruption of a huge dormant volcano. With the island and its inhabitants facing disaster, the PAW Patrol must team up with Rex for a series of dino-sized rescues.

Their latest mission puts the pups up against a threat considerably larger than anything they have faced before.

The Adventure Comes To Malls Across South Africa

To celebrate the cinema release, PAW PATROL: THE DINO MOVIE activations are bringing the world of Adventure Bay to shopping centres across South Africa.

Young fans can take part in hands-on toy demonstrations with Prima Toys, shop the latest PAW Patrol toys from Toy Kingdom, discover character clothing from Woolworths and find goodies for their furry friends from Montego.

The activations combine entertainment with opportunities for families to discover products inspired by the franchise, making them an additional way to celebrate the film's arrival on the big screen.

And, naturally, no PAW Patrol experience would be complete without Chase.

Meet Chase At Three South African Shopping Centres

Chase will make special appearances for meet-and-greets, allowing young fans to meet the familiar police pup, take photographs and experience a little bit of PAW Patrol magic in person.

His South African appearance schedule is:

• Mall of Africa: Friday, 14 August to Sunday, 16 August, from 11:00 to 16:30 daily.
• Menlyn Park Shopping Centre: Friday, 21 August to Sunday, 23 August, from 11:00 to 16:30 daily.
• The Pavilion, Durban: Friday, 28 August to Sunday, 30 August, from 11:00 to 16:30 daily.

For families with young PAW Patrol fans, the activations provide an opportunity to turn a trip to the shopping centre into an extension of the cinema experience.
